Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) is now accepting presentation abstract submissions for EVVE 2026, taking place October 20–22, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We welcome abstracts that explore all aspects of electric mobility and contribute to informed, forward-looking discussion across Canada’s EV ecosystem.
While submissions across the full spectrum of electric mobility are encouraged, EMC is particularly interested in presentations that align with the following key focus areas for EVVE 2026. Proposals outside of these themes are also welcome and will be considered based on their relevance, originality, and contribution to the program.
Priority focus areas include:
- Recycling capabilities in Canada and Critical Minerals strategy
- Optimization strategies for public and private MHDV charging
- Electric school buses: overcoming adoption barriers
- Transit electrification: addressing ramp-up challenges
- Commercial fleet electrification: TCO-ready applications
- Navigating industry change and uncertainty
- Canadian program and policy landscape
- V2X: benefits and pilot results
- Forecasting and grid planning
- Energy management technologies (MURBs and fleets)
- Funding strategies in the current political environment
- Identifying and addressing training gaps
- Spotlight on Manitoba
Due to high interest and limited program space, submissions will be evaluated based on alignment with conference objectives, originality, and demonstration of innovation. EMC is also committed to building a diverse and inclusive program and will consider regional representation, professional background, and gender balance as part of the selection process.
As part of the review process, additional consideration will be given to presentations led by Indigenous speakers or focused on Indigenous-led projects, partnerships, and equity-related issues, in recognition of the importance of these perspectives to Canada’s clean transportation transition.
Presentation format: Each selected speaker will have approximately 10–12 minutes to present, followed by a moderated discussion with fellow session presenters. Please prepare your proposed content accordingly.
Abstract submission deadline: March 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET
